Working principle of Hammer Crusher
Hammer mill mainly crushes materials by the impact action. The electric motor drives the rotor fn the crushing cavity. Materials go into the machine body from the material mouth upside, and are crushed due to the impact force of the high speed moving hammers. Under the rotor, there is a lamina cribrosa, the crushed materials which are smaller than the size of mesh grade can discharge from the lamina cribrosa, while large-sized materials will be brought back to the crushing area by the hammers of the hammer crusher to be re-crushed until they reached the required size, and then they can be discharged from the lamina cribrosa.
